We are a TICA registered cattery under the name “BengalsByMew” and proudly follow the TICA Voluntary Code of Ethics, ensuring ethical breeding practices and transparency every step of the way.
At Mew’s Bengals, we are dedicated to raising exceptional Bengal cats with a strong focus on health, temperament, and intentional breeding. We are a small, in-home cattery where our cats are not just part of our program, they are part of our family.
Each kitten is raised in a loving, hands-on environment alongside our other pets, ensuring they are confident, well-socialized, and ready to thrive in their new homes. Our kittens are never raised in isolation, they grow up in the heart of our home, surrounded by everyday life, attention, and care.
Because we prioritize quality over quantity, we carefully plan each pairing and limit the number of litters we have each year to protect the well-being of our queens. This intentional approach allows us to produce not only beautiful Bengals, but truly well-adjusted companions with strong, loving personalities.

Meet the Breeders
Ed & Leslie

Hi, we’re Ed & Leslie, the faces behind Mew’s Bengals.
What started as a shared love for animals quickly grew into something much more meaningful after we got married in 2021. Bengals completely stole our hearts, and what began as a passion turned into a purpose we truly care about. We live in Murrieta, CA with our husky, Toga, and our Bengals: Mew, Doja, Loki, and Venus, who are all deeply loved and very much part of our everyday lives. Our home is lively, a little chaotic at times, and filled with personality… just the way we like it.
Ed is a big Pokémon card collector and often attends conventions, something our Bengals have surprisingly gotten used to being part of. I, on the other hand, am completely obsessed with my plants. Our home has slowly turned into a little jungle, and our Bengals have learned to coexist in it—aside from the occasional nibble on our spider plants.
Each of our animals has their own personality that brings something special into our home:
• Toga – the alpha queen of the house. Doja’s arch nemesis, Mew’s favorite being on earth, Loki’s go-to walk buddy, and Venus’s competition when it comes to fetch.
• Doja – our sorority’s spicy girl. She keeps the house protected, handling mosquitoes and flies like a true little warrior.
• Mew – our angel girl and truly the heart of our home. Often referred to as our cattery’s “doula cat,” she naturally helps our queens care for their kittens from the very beginning. Incredibly loyal and nurturing.
• Loki – our lovable degenerate troublemaker who keeps us on our toes daily… but we wouldn’t trade him for anything.
• Venus – a curious little princess. Gentle, passive, and loves every animal she meets.
For us, this isn’t just about breeding, it’s about the relationships we build along the way. We genuinely love staying connected with our families and watching our kittens grow in their new homes. When you adopt from us, you’re not just getting a kitten, you’re getting a piece of our home and our heart.
